Southern Sands Tours
Day 1. It (humans) began in Africa and so should our tour. The place to start any tour of SA is with a visit to the Cradle of HumanKind. If time is not a problem then a visit into the caves to see where the fossils were actually found. Sterkfontein caves. Now to head for the Bird of Prey centre near Dullstroom, followed by some trout fishing and whiskey tasting. The night is spent at a trout farm in Dullstroom, waking up to some hot trout (hopefully) or at least pancakes at Harries. Day 2 No messing about, and into the Kruger National Park we go. For those who would like to go on a night drive, they can, the rest can join for a braai. Day 3 We stay in the park but search our way to the Lower Sabie rest camp. Day 4 Another day in the Kruger but this time moving more north. We spend the night at Letaba Rest camp and visit the elephant museum. Day 5 Time for a change of scenery. We leave the park and visit Jessica on the way to Southern Sands Ecolodge. Day 6 Less driving today, we visit Moholoholo Rehab centre in the moring and we have the Blyde Boat cruise in the afternoon, overnighting at Southern Sands. Day 7 We explore the Panaroma route. Day 8 We head back to The city of gold. Day 9 We use the Red Bus (hop on hop off) and visit places like the Apartheid Museum and Vi
